Notter Mill Country Park, Notter Bridge, Saltash, Cornwall PL12 4RW
Situated in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty on the banks of the River Lynher, Notter Mill Country Park holds a David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award. It is a haven for wild flowers and many birds such as woodpeckers, kingfishers, herons, buzzards, jays and owls. If you are lucky you will also see the native animals including foxes, badgers, deer and squirrels. We also have two working beehives within the conservation area.
Very relaxing place to stay. Great for families. Kids loved the pool. Try Talland bay (between Looe and Polperro) for rockpooling, nice cafe too. Good waves at Whitsand for body-boarding.
